About the event
Community Surf Therapy sessions are facilitated group sessions with a focus on grounding yourself in nature, and coming back to oneself in the present. The sessions consist of a land lesson incorporating art therapy, movement, and discussion, and a water lesson in which you are invited to play in and around the ocean and experience the healing power of the blue mind.
Sessions are led by a certified surf therapy facilitator, a mental health practitioner, and volunteers and all are welcome! You don't need to know how to surf to experience the healing power of the ocean.
